Scholarship Program

There are different scholarship opportunities offered at the club, region, and national level to all members. 

Iowa Arabian Horse Association Scholarship (Club Level)

Each year the Iowa Arabian Horse Association (IA-AHA) offers club level scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors and continuing education members. Scholarship recipients are announced each year at the Iowa Gold Star. 

This year the Iowa AHA will be awarding first place winners:
  • 2011 graduating senior - $750.00
  • Continuing education - $750.00

Scholarship Requirements

High school graduating senior:
  • Student (any age) must have graduated from high school in the current year of the application.
  • Must be a member of the Iowa Arabian Horse Association in good standing.
Continuing education student:
  • Student (any age) working towards a degree from a two-year or four-year institution.
  • Must be a member of the Iowa Arabian Horse Association in good standing.

Regional and National Scholarships

Members of the IA-AHA are also eligible for scholarships offered by Region XI and the Arabian Horse Association Foundation.
